Henkel experts’ view is that in the styling category brand loyalty is more characteristic than among hair care products; in the latter consumers are really willing to try new products, especially shampoos. Procter&Gamble’s Wella Pro Series Moisture collection guarantees intensive care and shiny hair and Wellaflex products are also perfect when it comes to hair styling. After more than 7 years of research Pantene’s experts redefined the three hair types (thin, normal and thick) according to physical and chemical characteristics, proving that each of them has different needs. Herbária products: because of their special characteristics the company’s customers form a stable group which is not influenced by trends. Pantene product lines do not only consist of shampoo and conditioner but also feature special serums and other hair care agents for different hair types, so it is worth buying complete product families for full 4-step hair care. Schauma Lightweight is a product family for treating thin hair that lacks shine. Schauma Cotton Fresh is shampoo for dry hair, while the Gliss Kur product family has a new version, which uses the Marrakesh Oil and coconut extract to care for normal hair. Among Syoss products Oleo Intense products were added to the portfolio: they make hair shiny and flexible. Herbária has its own loyalty point collecting programme, targeting the customers of the country’s 80 Herbária shops.
