Magazine: They like to buy it if it is natural

Although more fruit yogurt is sold in general, sales have dropped recently, while plain yogurt sales have increased – Beáta Kiss, external corporate relations director of DANONE Kft. informed our magazine. Health is a buzzword these days and consumers are looking for products with added value such as Activia or Actimel. Danone Greek Cream Yogurt is also increasingly popular. 125g products sell the best but there has been a moderate shift in the direction of 150-200g products. Being the market leader, Danone feels it is the company’s task to popularise yogurt products in general, never ceasing to put new, innovative and healthy products on the market. They are searching for unique solutions in the field of marketing too, focusing more and more on digital communication: in addition to the website and Facebook profile, last December they also launched a mobile app called DanOn Programme. The goal with this is to educate families about eating healthy and following a balanced diet, giving them more than 2,000 recipes to make simple and tasty food. Recently the Activia brand covered a square in Budapest with a 1,000m², 400-flower ‘carpet’, expressing gratitude to women and paying respect to the hard work they do every day for their family. Real Nature Kft.’s credo is providing people with tasty and healthy products. Owner-managing director Bernadett Strasser-Kátai told our magazine that they use natural, GMO-free ingredients to make Joya, Good Milk, Real Nature and Green Heart products. The Joya and Green Heart lines consist of organic products. In the Joy product line, which targets lactose-sensitive consumers, now gluten-free products can now also be found. Real Nature Kft.’s yogurt products are marketed under the Nöm-Mix, Ciao and ProXY brand names. The latter is a new yogurt range, available in 750g strawberry-banana and forest fruit flavours; the 290g yogurt drink can be bought in strawberry, peach and forest fruit version, and there are also 4x100g forest fruit and strawberry versions of it. The latest product is the 1kg plain yogurt made with cane sugar.
