Magazine: Food mash-ups
World famous New York baker Dominique Ansel created cronut, a ‘hybrid’ of croissant and donut. The fact that its creator trademarked the product with the US Patent Office guarantees that it will not reach the masses. What is more, one. Another food mash-up that appeals to many is Ramen Burger. It debuted at Brooklyn’s Smorgasburg food fair. It consists of a beef patty between two fried noodle patties and it isn’t patented – the answer came only a week later, from Philadelphia: spaghetti burger!
