K Group rolls out juices made of discarded fruits and vegetables
Finland’s K Group has joined forces with Thrsty to manufacture juices out of edible but discarded fruit, vegetables and berries in order to reduce food waste. Fruit and vegetables are discarded because of bruises during movement at warehouses or for their general appearance. The juice is available in K Group grocery stores, packed in returnable plastic bottles.
