Forty-eight percent of online shoppers pay with a credit card on the web
The GKI Digital made a public research in January, examining the online and offline payment habits of the population.
According to the results of the research 85% of the Hungarian population who are using the Internet for purchasing in 2014 use credit cards in traditional retail purchases, 48% oft hem already pay by card on the web.
As the level of education increases, the proportion of people paying with credit card is growing steadily, while nearly half of online shoppers with 8 years of primary school have absolutely no credit cards.
