In the difficult year of 2020 Auchan was able to keep going strong in basically every field. We spent several hundred million forints on protecting the health of customers and workers. Auchan also made its operating procedures more efficient, in order to ensure uninterrupted product supply. Plus 200 new jobs were created by the company.
Gross sales revenue grew by 6.9 percent to HUF 422.5 billion. In the pandemic situation team work and the expertise of employees very much contributed to our good performance. Auchan and its supplier partners continue to do their best for serving customer needs at the highest level. We will make our business operations more sustainable by replacing refrigerators with more modern equipment, installing LED lighting and solar panels. //
