Lego cubes made of plant-based plastic
Lego produces billions of plastic building blocks each year. That is why the Danish company decided to switch to an environmentally conscious way – origo wrote. The company produces as much green energy as it uses, and also earns with its environmentally friendly investments.
Lego is trying to become an environmentally conscious company. It has long been rumored that the Danish company will present its first Lego sets this year, made of plant-based plastics in the name of sustainability.
Now Bloomberg says that the investment fund behind Lego (Kirkbi) would invest in addition to wind energy into other renewables. (origo)
