Our best cakes

The Guild of Hungarian Confectioners has announced the ‘Cake of Hungary’ contest for the 12th time, to celebrate national holiday 20 August in style. From the 28 entries the jury selected the finalists at the Sirha Budapest trade show on 9 February. Six cakes qualified for the final and none of them were made in Budapest, but Bergman confectionery in Balatonfüred and Jánoska in Komárom both sent two cakes to the final. //
