The harvest of maize stopped due to bad weather
The harvest of maize stopped temporarily due to the rainfall and storm in several regions, however, the amount harvested so far has a good quality and the yield is encouraging – the Concordia Közraktár Zrt. told MTI on Tuesday.
According to their communication, industry experts expect a 7-tonne harvest per hectare, which is medium-sized, it is lower than the 8.7 tonnes harvested in 2016, but is higher than the 6.8 tonnes harvested last year. (MTI)
