You see it? Well, you can’t see it!
The Doughnut Vault, known for its long lines and off-the-wall flavors, is branching out from its River North home to feed the masses. Chicago restaurateur Brendan Sodikoff said he plans to open eight to 12 more gourmet doughnut locations in Chicago. Mr. Sodikoff confirmed he is close to finalizing leases in technology-centric office buildings at 111 N. Canal St. and 1000 W. Fulton Market, both of which are owned by Chicago-based Sterling Bay Cos. The latter, the former Fulton Market Cold Storage Building, is being redeveloped as the future Chicago office of Google Inc.
