Inflation is slowing down in the euro area and in the EU
The growth in consumer prices slowed in the euro area and in the European Union in April.
According to final data published on Wednesday by the European Union’s Statistical Office (Eurostat), consumer prices increased by 1.2 percent in the euro area, which is 0.1 percentage points lower than the 1.3 percent of March, but 0.2 percentage point higher than the 1.1 percent of Februar. (MTI)
