The European Commission expects slower economic growth in Hungary and lower deficits
According to the “winter economic forecast” of the European Commission (EC) in 2015 and in 2016, the European Commission expects slower economic growth in Hungary. The European Commission also lowered the forecast for this year's budget deficit as well.
The European Commission in its latest forecast published on Thursday expects 2.4 percent Hungarian GDP growth for 2015 and 1.9 percent growth for the next year.
The European Commission revised down the budget deficit to 2.7 percent from previously expected 2.8 percent, while for 2016 a 2.5 percent deficit is expected. (MTI)
