Birds Eye and BlueNalu team up to experiment with lab-grown seafood
Birds Eye – the largest frozen food group in Europe – has joined forces with US company BlueNalu to develop seafood products grown from cells in a laboratory rather than caught from the oceans. Birds Eye co-owner Nomad and BlueNalu will work together in market research and consumer insight, assessment needed to gain the approval of regulators and new business and product opportunities for European markets.
