Spar expands in Poland by mixing various store formats
SPAR’s strategy of operating the chain’s own and independent retailer run stores is the driving force of the company’s Polish expansion. SPAR has recently opened 500m² floor space new stores in Warsaw and Wroclaw, which seek to serve the needs of not only local customers but tourists as well. In March the retailer also opened EUROSPAR supermarkets all over the country, including a 1,400m² one in Poznan.
