Foreign trade balance: food exports reached outstanding results
In March, exports in euros were 19.0 percent higher, while imports were 21.3 percent higher than in the previous year, according to the second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) on Thursday.
The foreign trade surplus amounted to 978 million euros, 21 million more than in the same month of last year.
According to the first estimate released on 9 May, exports increased by 18.4 percent and imports increased by 21.0 percent year-on-year. The second estimate shows a higher growth on both sides, so export surplus became 22 million higher. (MTI)
