The domestic market has a key importance to large companies
The domestic large companies’ profitability depends on mainly the domestic demand while the decisive public burdens are no longer affect the companies sensitively. The forint’s exchange rate fluctuations and inflation, on the other hand, have an increasing impact on their profitability, according to the latest data of the K&H Growth Growth Index.
According to K&H, “Although the domestic demand has always been a top priority for domestic non-state companies, its importance has been considerably appreciated over the past year and a half. Currently, nearly two-thirds of the business decision-makers (63 percent) believe that domestic buyers are the most important for the company’s profitability” – said Patrick Van Overloop, leader of K&H’s Business Clients Division.
