KSH: agricultural output stagnated last year
Agricultural production was down 0.3 percent from the previous year due to a 1.7 percent growth in the livestock sector and a decline in crop and horticultural products.
The 3.2 percent increase in crop production prices and the 5.2 percent increase in prices for livestock and livestock products have increased the production value of agriculture by 3.6 percent -according to a recent second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). (MTI)
