KSH: a growth in average earnings in the January-August period
The gross average earnings increased by 3.4, the average net earnings increased by 4.8 percent in January to August 2013, compared to the previous year – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Friday.
In August, gross earnings were 5.5 percent higher, while net earnings were 7.0 percent higher than a year earlier. Calculated with the record low 1.3 percent inflation rate of August, real wages increased by an average of 5.6 percent by calculating without the effect of family allowances. (MTI)
