KSH: the retail data has become even better
The raw volume of retail sales grew by 8.7 percent in March. The calendar effect adjusted volume of retail sales increased by 7.3 percent – mainly due to Easter – over the same period of last year, according to the second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH). Compared to the first estimate released on 4 May, both raw and calendar adjusted data were 0.2 percentage points higher.
The first-quarter’s increase calendar effect adjusted also shows a 7.3 percent decline, compared to the preliminary announced 7.2 percent, with raw data showing a 7.8 percent increase opposite to the previous announced 7.7 percent. (MTI)
