KSH: prices increased by 2 percent in March
In March, consumer prices were an average 2.0 percent higher than a year before. The greatest increase occured in the prices of spirits, tobacco and food products. Prices rose by an average of 0.1 percent in February, according to the Central Statistical Office (KSH).
Consumer prices also increased by 2.0 percent in the first quarter, compared to the same period of last year.
Mináry Borbála, head of department at the KSH explained that the food prices were above the average. Compared to February, the price of fresh vegetables and fruits rose above average. (MTI)
