KSH: agricultural producer prices increased
In July, the 4.5 percent increase in the price of vegetable products and the 4.0 percent decrease in prices of live animals and animal products led to a 1.2 percent increase in agricultural producer prices on average, compared to a year before, according to the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (KSH).
The prices of cereals rose by 13.0 percent, including wheat prices by 7.9 and maize prices grew by 16 percent. The price of fruits fell by 21.8 percent. The price of cherries and plums decreased by 51 percent and 42 percent, while the price of peaches increased by 34 percent. The price of vegetables increased by 11.6 percent and the price of potatoes by 45.0 percent. (MTI)
