KSH consumer prices rose 4.7 percent in January
Consumer prices were on average 4.7 percent higher in January than a year before – the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
Consumer prices rose to a greater extent in December 2012 than in January this year with 5.0 percent.
The so-called core inflation adjusted for one-off and seasonal effects increased to 4.0 percent in January, after the 3.9 percent of December last year. (MTI)
