KSH: retail sales were mainly stimulated by food consumption
The volume of retail sales rose by 7.0 percent in July – according to both the raw data and the calendar effect adjusted data, compared to the same period of the previous year – according to the Central Statistical Office’s (KSH) first estimate, released on Thursday.
The retail sales in Hungary are increasing since July 2013 continuously. This year's annual growth rate is the highest in July, however, in the growthm the previous year's relatively modest base figures have also played a role. (MTI)
