KSH: Industrial producer prices rose by 32.3 percent on an annual basis
In May, industrial producer prices rose by 32.3 percent year-on-year and by 2.6 percent month-on-month. Domestic sales prices were 43.3 percent higher, and forint-denominated export prices rose 26.7 percent, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) announced on Thursday.
Compared to the previous month, domestic sales rose 1.9 percent and exports 3.0 percent.
Food producer prices rise by almost 30%
In May, prices for domestic sales were on average 43.3 percent higher, of which prices rose 34.4 percent in the manufacturing sector, which accounted for 62 percent, and 66.8 percent in the energy sector, which accounted for 33 percent. (MTI)
