KSH foreign trade surplus was 517 million euros in April
In April, the volume of exports increased by 11.7 and its imports grew by 16.2 percent, compared to the same period of the previous year, while the foreign trade surplus was 517 million euros, 282 million euros less than a year before – according to a second estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) published on Tuesday.
The value of the balance decreased by 19 million euros, compared to the first estimate, while the value of the export was reduced to 8.593 billion euros and imports to the 8.075 billion euros, compared to the first estimate. The value of exports in euro increased by 10.7 percent, while imports grew by 16 percent in April, compared to the same period of last year. (MTI)
