KSH: The turnover of retail stores increased by 9.8 percent in February
In February, the volume of retail trade turnover was 9.8 percent higher than in the same period of the previous year, according to both raw and calendar-adjusted data, the Central Statistical Office (CSO) said on Wednesday.
According to the quick release, the volume of turnover in mixed food and food-type retail trade increased by 3.4 percent. The sales volume of food-type mixed stores, which account for 76 per cent of the food retail trade, increased by 3.2 per cent, and that of the food, beverages and tobacco stores by 3.9 per cent.
