KSH: average gross earning in February was 546 thousand HUF
In February, the average gross earnings of full-time employees – enterprises employing at least 5 people, budgetary institutions and non-profit organizations significant for employment – were 546 thousand HUF, 31.7 percent higher than a year earlier, the Central Statistical Office (KSH) reported on Tuesday.
The outstanding increase in the average salary was mainly due to the six-month salary of the defense and law enforcement professional staff, the so-called arms money and the already partially pre-scheduled salary increases, as well as the increase of the minimum wage and the guaranteed minimum wage, KSH added.
