In the next two years, the hotel capacity in Hungary will expand by about two thousand rooms. This means 4,000 new hotel beds, so Hungary and Budapest are preparing for the tourist’s challenges of the coming years – the latest analysis of KPMG drew attention.
The analysis that was sent to MTI on Wednesday recalls: Hungary will organize several major world sports competitions in the next few years and the new, 5,000-seat conference center will also be ready in Budapest, but the trends foreshadow further growth.
Last year and this year mostly opened lower capacity hotels were opened, so it is not surprising that in the coming years larger hotels will be opened in Hungary – according to KPMG’s statement.
