Medium yield is expected from the autumn crops
According to preliminary estimates, this year, good average yields can be expected in the autumn arable crops – the Minister of State of the Ministry of Agriculture said in Szabolcs.
At the event Czerván György told MTI that from autumn barley was sown on more than 200 thousand hectares. About 4.8 tonnes per hectare yield is expected. From autumn wheat, the professionals expect 5.0 tonnes per hectare yield. Autumn wheat was sown on about 960 thousand hectares. (MTI)
