Nearly one hundred tons of suspicious syrup was seized in Hungary
The National Agency for Food Safety seized 98 tons of unknown origin fruit syrup concentrate – Fazekas Sándor, Minister for Rural Development announced. Most of the concentrate, (78 tons) was seized at a site in Pest County, a further 20 tons was seized in Bács-Kiskun county.
Not only the origin of the product is strange, a large part of it is expired. The distribution was prohibited, and the connection between the two companies is under investigation. (B.L., Világgazdaság Online)
