Young people spend nearly five hours in front
In the past ten years the umber of young people who use the Internet daily multiplied by sixteen. 15-19 year olds spend a daily 4.9 hours in front of different screens. Their radio and magazine consumption is slowly declining. Ten years ago this age group had the same pattern of media consumption as adults. Especially the last five years brought drastic changes, Internet usage soared from 4 percent in 2000 to 65 percent in 2010 and the time spent with watching television also grew, by 6 percentage points – reveals a National Media Analysis study by GfK Hungária and Ipsos.
