Nearly one and a half thousand restaurants have closed in Britiain in one year
More than 1,400 restaurants have closed in the UK in a single year – Origo wrote after the joint survey of Independent and UHY Hacker Young.
All restaurants suffer from the same problems: they should keep up with less and less spending guests at ever-increasing costs.
British restaurants are in a difficult position, with more than 1,400 of them closing between June 2018 and June 2019. These include both reputable, venues with stable guest and less well-known units. But the restaurants that were closed in a year include, as origo wrote, members of the renowned British chef Jamie Oliver as well. (origo)
