Auchan home delivery will be more environmentally friendly
Auchan has been present on the domestic e-commerce market since 2016, the service became nationwide in 2021. Today, apart from food, household goods, technical and DIY products, toys, and sports equipment can be ordered online anywhere from Auchan.
For home delivery, sustainability aspects have now also been included in the system, because from now on the ordered food will be delivered everywhere safely and in an orderly manner, but without added packaging.
Auchan Hungary’s new partner in delivery without added packaging is the large company providing complex logistics services, Trans-Sped, whose green e-commerce service ZERO is used by the retail chain. The specific purpose of this is that, in addition to the high standard of service, the delivery to the home involves the smallest possible environmental impact. For this reason, the products arrive safely and neatly in lockable, reusable crates without added packaging and space-filling materials. The previous advantages remain, the products selected from a wide selection characteristic of Auchan are still delivered to even the smallest settlement within two working days: both food and non-food, and customers no longer have to worry about packaging waste after receiving the goods.
