The webshops see serious opportunities in rural buyers
Although domestic online sales continue to grow at a triple speed, compared to traditional retail, the customer circle appears to have reached its ceiling – Népszava Online wrote.
Currently, about 3 million Hungarians buy more or less regularly in webshops, but in recent years it has only been a few hundred thousand. Last year, the turnover of online trade exceeded 360 billion forints, which is a 18 percent increase. Overall, 83 percent of webshops closed more successful year than in 2016.
