The National Agricultural Research and Innovation Center has received funding for climate change research
The National Agrarian Research and Innovation Center (NAIK) won 635.61 million HUF EU funding for climate change research.
The NAIK told MTI on Thursday that research has been conducted at 19 sites of 6 research institutes, with 100 percent support for their costs.
According to the information, researchers are investigating the exposure, sensitivity, vulnerability and adaptation possibilities of crop production systems to climate change. The project covers not only a separate and isolated study of arable crops – arable land, forests, orchards, vineyards or vegetables – but also the examinination of complex cultivation systems. (MTI)
