Small regions and digitalisation
On 20 November the Retail College of the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry invited Minister for Innovation and Technology Péter Cseresnyés to its meeting. The minister and college members discussed the retail strategy of the next two years, with special regard to small regions. They agreed that there are three very important factors in planning the future of retail service providing: 1. Innovation must be prioritised, 2. The value chain needs to be shortened wherever possible, 3. Consumer confidence in online shopping must be strengthened. Another important task is the improvement of digital skills. //
