The 2015 Lifetime Achievement Award of the packaging profession was handed over
Viszkei György, Chairman of the Board of the GS1 Magyarország Nonprofit Zrt. received the “For the profession” Lifetime Achievement Award at the Annual General Meeting of the Packaging and Material Handling National Association held on 27 March 2015.
Viszkei György graduated in Chemnitz, Germany as a mechanical engineer in 1974. In 1979, he earned a degree in chemical engineering at the Technical University of Budapest.
He started his careeer as a development technologist at the packaging factory of the Papíripari Vállalat (Paper Industrial Company). He became the first Secretary-General of the National Association of Packaging and Materials Handling (CSAOSZ) that was founded in 1990. Since 2008 he is the Chairman of the Board of the GS1 Magyarország Nonprofit Zrt.
