The McDonald’s is expanding in China
McDonalds plans to increase the number of its businesses from 2,500 to 4,500 in the next five years, and plans to double-digit revenue growth in China – portfolio.hu wrote.
The US-based fast food network also announced on Tuesday that it wants to expand mainly in smaller cities.
The deal was closed in the days whereby McDonald’s sold 80 percent of its Chinese companies to China’s Citic Investment Group and the US Carlyle Group. This reduces direct revenue, but reduces costs, but increases license revenue. McDonald’s has 37,000 restaurants around the world, including 14,000 in the United States. (portfolio.hu)
