The turnover of Christmas fondants accelerates before Christmas
According to a research commissioned by the Association of Hungarian Confectionery Manufacturers, 86 percent of domestic consumers are planning to buy Christmas fondants – Sánta Sándor, the chairman of the association said.
In the competition between flavors, the jelly Christmas fondant is the leader. Almost two-thirds of the customers have chosen it for their favorite flavor. Coconut and caramel are also on the podium, but many people like expensive marzipan and peanut-flavored varieties.
