K&H: CSR has become a magic word
There is no sector of the Hungarian economy in which the K&H sustainability index did not show a worse result than a year earlier. “The first half of 2023 will certainly not go down in economic history because of efforts to reduce the environmental footprint,” says Suba Levente, head of sustainability at K&H, who says that the unfavorable economic situation has stalled the slow-starting processes.
For the third time, the K&H Group conducted a detailed survey among companies with a turnover exceeding HUF 300 million on their opinions and activities regarding sustainability. The K&H sustainability index formed from the results of the research decreased from 40 to 38 points in half a year – so it returned to where it was in the first half of 2022, at the time of the first survey.
