K&H Bank: The expectations of SMEs are on a 17-year peak

The K&H Bank’s SME Confidence Index rose by twenty points, to the most optimistic value of a survey examining the expectations of Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises for 17 years. The positive results in all sectors are mainly due to the fact that companies are optimistic about the development of their financial situation and economic policy measures, the financial institution told MTI on Friday.

According to the information, the spectacularly positive result of the index was mainly driven up by the rise in the mood of micro-enterprises with a turnover of between 20 and 100 million HUF. The expectations of small and medium-sized businesses have already corrected the stagnation caused by the virus at the beginning of the year, so they have now doubled the value of their positive expectations.
