K&H: the majority of Hungarian companies focus on the digital transition
The majority of companies operating in Hungary focus on the digital transition, today only 34 percent do not see this as a significant challenge – K&H told MTI on Friday.
K&H’s innovation survey measured the most significant increase in the application of machine learning, especially in the development of personalized offers, services and products. In addition, the use of risk analysis and fraud detection, as well as IT integration, is becoming more and more popular. The use of sensors and meters built into vehicles for monitoring and performance or maintenance planning, as well as facial, image and speech recognition, appear to be key areas of corporate innovation.
For now, machine translation is not spreading, there is no visible significant change in the application of artificial intelligence either, the use of cameras that analyze customer behavior and smart meters that regulate energy consumption has even decreased – they wrote.
According to K&H, the rise of innovations is hampered by economic difficulties, and in this situation companies focus more on reducing their costs and improving their operational efficiency. They added that the IT training of employees is still general, and the majority of domestic companies use both the Internet and portable devices in their daily work.
