Gundel Restaurant is planning a double-digit increase in traffic this year
The operator of the Gundel Restaurant is planning a double-digit, 20 percent increase in traffic this year, Jenő Magyary, Gundel’s managing director, told MTI.
He added: in 2023, the sales revenue increased to HUF 1.5 billion, and the profit is roughly 8-10 percent of this, according to preliminary data.
The restaurant was reopened in 2021, and in 2022 they closed a break-even year due to the epidemic. While 55,000 guests visited the Gundel Restaurant in 2022, compared to almost 57,000 last year, their goal this year is to serve 70-75,000 guests. The number of employees has been increased, after last year’s 74, they now work with a team of 80 people.
