Foodwatch questions the healthiness of plant-based meat substitutes

In celebration of Veganuary, consumer watchdog Foodwatch has analysed 15 pure plant-based meat substitutes. The result: the healthiness of these products is rather controversial.
According to Foodwatch, some of the meat substitutes are relatively high in calories, saturated fats and salt. They have also found that only two of the 15 products tested had a Nutri-Score level sufficient to be awarded the green nutrition label. //
