Roundtable discussion in honey case

The first round-table discussion was held in honey case, organized by the National Food Chain Safety Office – Magyar Nemzet wrote. The negotiations are expected to continue in the near future.

The honey market has spectacularly cleared, thanks to effective regulatory actions in the past period – the President of the Hungarian National Beekeeping Association (OMME) called attention at the sectoral consultation, which was held about the situation of the honey industry that took place with the participation of the legislators, authorities and the representatives of the national beekeeping industry. Boross Péter explained that thanks to the effectiveness of the strict controls of the authority, the rate of import honey has decreased significantly in trade. (Tóth László Levente, MNO)
