The rise in agricultural purchase prices accelerated further in June

Agricultural purchase prices have continued to rise.
The annual increase in the average purchase price of crop and horticultural products accelerated from 23.5 percent in May to 3.8 percentage points to 27.3 percent. Cereal prices were 37.4 percent higher than in June last year, the annual rise in wheat prices moderated to 24.0 percent from 31.1 percent in May, and the rise in maize prices rose further to 51.3 percent from 48.8 percent in May.
