NAK: 17 June is Fruit and Vegetable Day
European Fresh Force is the name of the joint educational programme of the Hungarian Chamber of Agriculture (NAK) and the European Union. The initiative has been popularising fruit and vegetable consumption for four years, and its main target group is 6-18 year old children and their families. As part of the programme, NAK designated 17 June as Fruit and Vegetable Day.
Connecting to the #FoodHeroes initiative of the United Nations, NAK, and the European Fresh Force programme are looking for Hungary’s Fruit and Vegetable Hero. Applicants can register until 25 May, the winner will be announced on 17 June and is going to represent Hungary on the international stage.
