Auchan is campaigning for greener consumer choices in July
Auchan Hungary will join the global Plastic Free July initiative in 2025. The company is committed to sustainability, one of the main elements of which is the reduction of plastic use. During the campaign, it will encourage its customers to make more environmentally conscious decisions with multi-channel, educational and rewarding activities. The online Green Personality Test, which is linked to the prize draw, will allow all regular customers with a Bizalomkart to find out where they are on this path personally.
The central element of the Plastic Free July campaign is an online Green Personality Test prize draw, which will be available between 3 and 31 July 2025 exclusively for Bizalomkart customers. With the help of the test, each participant will receive feedback on how environmentally conscious they are, and by completing it, they will automatically participate in the weekly prize draw. Every week, 50 lucky winners will receive a digital coupon in their Trust Card profile that can be activated and redeemed until August 31, 2025, and the main winner of the campaign will win 100,000 HUF in Trust Points.
A customer can complete the test once during the campaign period. The purpose of the prize draw is not only to educate, but also to positively confirm that conscious decisions represent value.
21 more environmentally friendly product alternatives for everyday life
Auchan’s offer will focus on products that are made with recycled or recyclable packaging or with a lower environmental impact. In the July campaign, the department store chain will present 21 products that represent a more sustainable choice compared to traditional plastic-based solutions in various aspects. Many of these are discussed in detail in the online specials and on the Auchan website, and attention will also be drawn to them in the stores.
To encourage environmentally conscious shopping habits, in July, those who order their coffee in a reusable cup at the Auchan Budaörs department store’s Bistro will receive an additional 5% discount in addition to the previous 5% discount.
