KSH: Retail sales increased by 4.1 percent in July
In July, retail sales increased by 4.1 percent year-on-year, according to the raw and calendar adjusted data – the first estimate of the Central Statistical Office (KSH) revealed on Tuesday.
In January-July, traffic grew by 4.0 percent, according to the raw data, while the calendar effect adjusted indicator showed a 3.9 percent increase, compared to the same period of last year.
In July, the turnover of non-food retail stores showed the largest increase of 7.1 percent, while fuel sales rose by 3.4 percent, according to the calendar effect adjusted data. In mixed food and food retail stores, the annual sales growth was 2.1 percent. (MTI)
