The Czechs like the stinky cheese-flavored ice cream
Although at first glance the yellow ice cream is not different from other ice creams, but its scent and tasting immediately tells us that one of the components is the extremely popular Olomouc cheese, which is simply called stinky (smelly) cheese.
“We wanted to produce an ice cream, and because we are in Lostice (small town near Olomouc), we thought that an Olomouc cheese prepared flavored ice cream will be this specialty. We wanted to draw your attention to our products with this ice-cream.” – Roman Cincara, owner of the unusual flavor ice cream’s manufacturer and distribution plant told Mladá Fronta Dnes Czech daily.
